AUSTIN, TX

Austin was our home for many years and still one of our favorite shooting locations.  We always love to come back to Austin to see friends and photograph all of the changes.   On a recent trip, we got some new Texas History Museum images.  The grounds were in great shape, the sky blue, and the trees all green.

We made a long overdue trip to the Capitol grounds and noticed two new sculptures, both dedicated on March 29, 2014. The Texas Capitol  Vietnam Veterans (3d) monument is a wonderful piece, and I wish we could do it justice here.  For an online tour, click here.  The other is  the Tejano Monument, recognizing contributions by early Spanish and Mexican pioneers who settled Texas.  They established thriving ranching and agricultural industries and were the first cowboys.  Both are well worth seeing!

We have created two separate supplemental galleries for you to see additional images:  one for the general Austin view and the other for Texas State Capitol specific photos.  Click on one of the two thumbnail links below this gallery to enter into the special, additional galleries.
