One of our favorite styles of commercial photography is architecture. I studied architecture in college (many years ago!) and have always been fascinated with construction methods, materials, and all of the other nuances. I'm a fan of many architectural styles and eras: from older, classical architecture to adobe structures common in the Southwest, to modern architecture such as that of Frank Gehry and his heavy use of sculptured metal. There are commercial buildings and residential structures and generally each has exterior and interior points of interest. There are also noteworthy buildings around the world that scream to be photographed with good light and interesting angles. Much of the work we do, and most of what you will see below, is shot on assignment so we don't always get to choose the subject. That doesn't always mean we can't be creative with the work we do; but when we're being paid to shoot, we always have to know the client's goals for using the imagery. The 18 images you will see below have all been shot for clients and represent a significant amount of the spectrum of our traditional work. Occasionally we'll try to come back to this gallery to refresh it with newer works and occasionally we may include something that we shot "just for the fun of it."
